The original Flexcell New Generation mattress incorporated two layers of Memory foam and castellated support foam. An upper layer of 2cm laminated to a further 7cm creating 9cm of deep memory cushioning. The design later changed to the New Generation mattress we know today, having a full 9cm of upgraded 65kg/m3 Visco elastic memory laminated to an upgraded premium Reflex cellular base foam
The New Generation still moulds and contours to the sleeper's individual body shape distributing the body weight evenly. This even distribution of weight eliminates pressure points resulting in a much more comfortable and relaxed sleeping experience.
The top layer is laminated to the high-density cellular base layer creating a full 20cm deep mattress core. The upgraded base layer is delivers additional support to hips and shoulders whilst helping to maintain the correct posture.
The combination of upgraded Visco elastic and high-density Reflex cellular foam provides the ultimate in comfort and body posture avoiding unnecessary pressure on the vertebrae and soft tissue of the spine and lower back. This reduces the chance of waking up with a sore back and increases the chances of an uninterrupted night’s sleep
